They do have some sample packs that includes a sheet, but it’s limited to what in the box. They do have one on their website but I was only able to find it through multiple google searches and not through website navigation. I do wish the laser came with a parameter sheet for all materials that it’s capable of cutting and engraving to help you understand power and speed with limiting waste material. Another great thing with this device is they include several different materials to get your feet wet with which gives you a better idea on what you’re doing. Don’t get me wrong, the software included with the machine is functional right away, it’s just very limited. All in all, I rate this 5 stars because the update was for my own personal satisfaction to use a software with more personal functions.
It was very frustrating because at one point It deleted the initial firmware for the machine, however there were troubleshooting blogs and information on the xtool website. I had to try several different methods and multiple computers, Mac and pc, for the update to go work. The second was trying to install the update for use with lightburn. There were two downsides to my experience, one was the shipping time (which I understand is a current problem due to covid so that won’t be held over their head).
The rotary feature is an excellent tool to have and easy to use.
This laser was super simple to put together and use the moment you set it up.
